Samsung ML-2165 Laser Printer series
Samsung has made a small format private laser printer for a while, but the ML-2165 may be the most compact yet. With dimensions of only 331 x 215 x 178mm, it’s about the same size as a toaster, just a little wider. It’s a little more than a toaster, though, and doesn’t get hot. Colored in mid-gray and light gray shades, there are no gaps or holes for dust or spills to be inserted, when the printer is closed. To open it, you pull down the front cover, which then becomes a paper distribution tray, and folds it in front of the top cover, which becomes the Output tray. It’s pretty neat, even though there’s no cover for the stack of paper, so you might need to close the machine when it’s not in use. Cleverly, if you forget to open the Output tray before printing, the paper feeds through the gap left in the hinge, to the table, rather than jamming inside the printer.
